GREETINGS, POTENTIAL SPONSORS!

Mardi Gras beads of all sizes on one adorable familyThe Sacramento Traditional Jazz Society is gearing up for its 39th annual Festival, scheduled for Memorial Day Weekend 2012 in Old Sacramento. We are very proud of our festival and the tradition it has become in our community.  Our event was named one of the Top 100 events in North America.

In August 2011, we officially changed the event name to "Sacramento Music Festival" to reflect how our event has evolved to include many more musical styles than just Jazz. It also indicates our sincere effort to broaden the appeal of the four-day event by shifting some of the focus to other popular forms of American music such as Blues, Rock 'n' Roll, Country, Rhythm & Blues, Latin, and Zydeco. By featuring bands better known by the mainstream public, the festival is certain to attract a wider demographic and provide expanded exposure for sponsors and partners such as you.

STJS is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization that has been in existence in the Sacramento Area for more than forty years. We are thrilled that our event in 2012 will keep our traditions at the forefront while providing the needed changes to meet our community's wants and needs. This year’s event will be host to more than 70 bands, 800 performances, with more than 70,000 participants expected. We would love to see your company join our confirmed sponsors to date, including:   Golden One Credit Union, DBI, California Lottery, Ace Hardware and Wells Fargo, just to name a few. We are working diligently to build partnerships with additional local and regional corporations to support one of our region’s longest running events.  Please join us in making this year’s event a success!   If you need additional information or you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call. I can be reached at (916) 444-2004. Thank you in advance for your consideration.

Sincerely,

Vivian Abraham
